Welcome to Allergy & Asthma of Central Maryland.  Our board-certified allergists specialize in providing comprehensive care for children and adults with hay fever (allergic rhinitis), asthma, food allergies, eczema (atopic dermatitis), contact dermatitis, drug allergies, bee sting (venom) allergies.


Michael Goldman, M.D.

Dr. Goldman has been in practice since 1996.  He attended Cornell University Medical College and completed his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Johns Hopkins.  He is board-certified in Allergy/Immunology and is a part-time Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  Voted as Baltimore Magazine "Top Doctor" in Allergy & Immunology in 2015, 2016 and 2019, Dr. Goldman specializes in nasal allergies, asthma, food allergies and eczema and treats patients of all ages. 

 

Glenn M. Silber, M.D.

Dr. Silber graduated from the University of Tennesee Medical School.  He completed pediatric residency and Chief Residency at St. Jude/LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.  He completed fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins.  Dr. Silber was named “Top Doctor” by Baltimore Magazine for Pediatric Allergy 2011-2013.  He has special interest in pediatric eczema and food allergies.

Monika Korff, M.D.


Dr. Korff graduated from Loma Linda University Medical School.  She completed residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins.  She has special interest in food allergies, medication allergies, and asthma.

Anny Uyehara, CRNP

Ms. Uyehara completed her Bachelor and Master degrees from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Nursing. She is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and started with the practice in 2005. She and her family moved to Hawaii from 2015-2017, where she enjoyed practicing in school health and coordinating clinical trials in oncology. She then spent a year at Stanford University from 2017-2018 as a Sub-Investigator, conducting clinical trials in food allergy, including peanut oral immunotherapy (OIT), peanut transdermal (patch) therapy, and multiple food allergen OIT.   She returned to our practice in August 2018 and continues to have special interest in pediatric food allergies.

Dara Neuman-Sunshine, M.D.

Dr. Neuman-Sunshine graduated from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine.  She completed residency in internal medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins.  She is board-certified in Allergy/Immunology.  In 2019 and 2021, Dr Neuman-Sunshine was voted "Top Doctor" in Allergy & Immunology by Washingtonian Magazine. She has special interest in food allergies, nasal allergies, asthma, and eczema.

Caroline Wettengel, DNP

Ms. Wettengel completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Virginia and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Maryland. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She works as an Adjunct Faculty member at Towson University in the School of Nursing. She has a special interest in atopic dermatitis, food allergies, and asthma.
